Evy's album |
I bought the directions for this project from J Ann B Designs. She gives you written directions plus a video to help you. She really does a good job. It was worth the 8.00.
Here are a few pictures to show you the result. I am not done with putting pictures it it yet. Working on it. Also, I did not really like how the back looked so I shortened it.

The hidden hinge is used here just as if you were making a regular mini album. I really enjoyed making this one. I can't wait to finish it with all the pictures of Evy I have to put in it. It might be awhile to get it done.
Evy is growing up so fast. Love babysitting with her. She is so much fun.

This is her table set that she uses in her playroom. I bought that months before she was born. |
Love this one if her thinking about what I am saying. |
The sentiment is a stamp I picked up somewhere in my travels from Northwoods stamps.I do not know where the paper is from since I used some scraps I had in my stash.
In March we drove to Columbus, Georgia to see my sister, Phillis and her husband, Cary. They just moved there and we wanted to check out their new home. When we got back I had been working on this album that my sister, Rochelle taught us to make using file folders. It was so easy.
I added this cover to give it a more album look using the ribbon you see on the side. I punched two holes in the spine and two holes in the pages and went to work.
Rochelle has a blog called Creative Corner which is a blog that I follow and is listed on my blog. You should check out her posts.
I used some Graphic 45 cards and some prima flowers to give the album a finished look. The clock you see is a magnet that keeps the album closed. Love it...
The inside pages had to be kept simple or it would not close properly. I made a flap and some pockets, but it will hold quite a few pictures.

Rochelle had everything cut out and we just assembled the favor. Love how they came out.
The die cut is called Curvy Keepsakes from Stampin Up. You can make so many different designs using this die cut. You should go on Pinterest and put "Curvy Keepsakes " in as a search and you will be amazed on what you can do with this die cut.

The perfect gift... |
Kristin and Nathaniel gave me some lovely flowers. They look so pretty. They also gave me a mystery puzzle cause they know I love mysteries. You read about the mystery first and then put the puzzle together to solve the mystery. No picture to go by. It is a real challenge but loads of fun.

It is always a treat to be together and see what a wonderful family God had put together. I feel so blessed.
I am looking forward to working on my gardens and getting some yard work done. I hope to be blogging more,
